Every summer the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) provides exciting internship opportunities for undergraduates. The goal of our internship program is to provide students the opportunity to gain practical skills in the marine sciences by working with AFSC staff.

Note:
- Due to budget cuts, 2012 internships will be unpaid.
- Travel to internship location and housing are not included in internship.
- Travel to a field location associated with an internship project will be paid for by the project's mentor.
- University of Washington SAFS students may be eligible for a UW SAFS scholarship.

March 30: Application deadline
April 2-4: Applications are processed
April 5 -13: Applications are sent to respective internship contacts for first selection process
April 17: Notification of selected applicants begins.
