ComFish Alaska

Alaska Fisheries Science Center has a long history of participating in the annual ComFish Alaska fisheries trade show. With an estimated 2,500 visitors from Kodiak and around the nation, this event is the largest and longest running fisheries trade show in Alaska and is sponsored each year by the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce.

AFSC participates by providing speakers for the seminars and having information booths in the trade show arena. The NMFS Alaska Regional Office, NMFS Enforcement, and NOAA Weather Service also have staffed booths at the event, making this a valuable venue in Alaska to present NOAA's mission and projects to the public.
