NOAA Science in the Pacific Northwest
Discover What Scientists Know
NOAA Heritage in the Pacific Northwest goes back almost 200 years. NOAA's predecessor agencies have surveyed waters, forecasted the weather, and managed fisheries in the Pacific Northwest since the 1800s.
The public joined NOAA at the Pacific Science Center's Eames Theater for five lectures during the fall of 2010 to learn more about the important work NOAA conducts -- science, service, and stewardship that impacts you, and our Nation every day.
This lecture series was sponsored by the NOAA Preserve America Initiative Program.
